Remote Performance Platform

The Remote Performance Platform is a key part of the EU-funded MuseIT project, designed to let musicians and artists collaborate remotely in real time. Using tools like JackTrip for low-latency audio and AI-driven software like Somax2, it supports synchronized, interactive music creation across distances. The platform also incorporates haptic feedback and biodata sensors that track nerve, muscle, and breathing signals, allowing artists to share emotional and physical states during the creative process. Though centered on music, the technology can be applied to other art forms, promoting inclusive, multisensory access to cultural experiences. As MuseIT concludes in 2025, the platform highlights a new, more connected and accessible way to create and experience art.
